Amsler, Marjorie “Marge” age 87, on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Beloved wife of the late Charles K. “Chuck” Amsler; cherished mother of Judy, Phyllis and Jay (Dawn); dear grandmother of Eric McIntyre,  Kristen Steelman Brooks and Gemma Naron Carlton; loving great-grandmother of Gavin McIntyre, Trinity  Celeste Carlton and Luke Amsler Carlton; dear sister of the late  Richard Willis and the late Robert Willis.

Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a kind friend to many. She was an accomplished seamstress, voracious reader, and lover of crossword puzzles. Chuck and Marge loved the ocean in West Palm Beach, Florida and traveled to Europe and Hawaii. Marge was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Mehlville, where she sang as an alto in the choir for many years, along with Chuck who sang bass. They were married for almost 60 years and renewed their vows in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Marge will be greatly missed by all, especially her children. She will  always be in their hearts as a  beautiful, healthy, intelligent and magnificent mom.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thurs., Sept. 29  from 4-8 p.m. and on Fri. Sept 30 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 11333 St. John’s Church Road, from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, where she will join Chuck in eternity. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Lutheran Senior Services  Hospice, 1150 Hanley Industrial Court, St. Louis, MO 63144, or the Alzheimer’s Association of St. Louis, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132.
