Winston, David J., Joined the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2016 after a short battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Nada R.  Winston (nee Klusmeyer); loving father and father-in-law of Elizabeth  “Libby” Winston and Holly (K. Michael Scharff M.D.) Winston; adoring grandfather of Tara Pham, the late A. Gage Scharff, Zachary Winston, Lyla Perrelli, Cooper and Jackson Scharff; dear brother of Alice (the late James) Click, Monroe “Bud” (the late Melba) Winston and the late George (surviving Dorothy)  LaBreacht and the late Delores (the late Robert) Templin; and dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Dave was a man who was truly  devoted to his family and friends and often shared his passion for  fishing and boating on Lake of the Ozarks. As a Washington University engineering graduate, he enjoyed  his 30 years of service to Anheuser Busch. There he specialized in utilities systems and energy conservation.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois on Wednesday, September 21 at 11 a.m. Interment at Lakewood Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Forest Park Forever or a charity of your choice appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-9 p.m.
