George S. AlKhouri, age 90, formerly of Ballwin, MO, baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on April 22, 2023. He was born July 30, 1932 in Saidnaya, Syria to the late Salim and Mariam (Mary) AlKhouri.

George was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda AlKhouri of 61 years; his children Dr. Nabiel (Nesrin) AlKhouri, Dr. Hani AlKhouri, Drs. Mary “Queen” (Jamal) Makhoul, Mr. Joseph (Suhair) AlKhouri, and Mr. Jimmy AlKhouri, as well as 12 loving grandchildren. He also leaves behind several dear cousins, nephews, and nieces in Syria and throughout the world.

George had a generous and prayerful spirit. As a father, he was dedicated to giving his children the best life, and they fondly remember his many sacrifices. As a grandfather, he always gave his time to play with his grandchildren, and passed on his love of the Lord to them. He will be missed dearly by many family and friends. George was a cheerful person, and his death is a reminder that his life should be cherished and celebrated.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, MO 63129. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond Maronite Cathedral, 939 Lebanon Drive, St. Louis MO 63104. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
