Passed away with family by her side on April 14, 2023 at the age of 55.

Linda is survived by her children Joseph, Patrick and his fiancé Alexis, and Victoria Vitt; her mother and father, Sharon and Bob Fischer; her brother Bill and Chris Fischer, and her sister Janet and Isaac Kunz; her nieces and nephews, Ethan and his wife Kenia, Cassandra and her husband, Alyssa, Alex F, Molly, Lexie, Nick, Jack and his wife Brooke, Sam, Stuart Edward, Seaton, Hudson, Alex P and his wife Carissa, and Shane; loving in laws Cheryl Davidson, Suzanna Vitt, Dawn Davidson Brand and her husband Jeff, Shawn Davidson and his wife Genie,  Joe and Lori Vitt, Jason Schmitt and his wife Megan, and AJ Pepin; her fur baby Luna, her fur-grand babies Lily, Piper, and Fin.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Greg Vitt, and by her grandparents Gene and Loretta Barnard.

Linda and Greg met during college in Kirksville, MO and were married for 30 years.  Linda was a dedicated nurse for 32 years.  Linda and her husband Greg had three children and enjoyed raising them.  Linda loved cheering her children on for all their school and sporting events.  When the kids finished high school, Linda took up a new hobby with Greg and they learned to sail.  From the moment they took their first sailboat ride at CSA, they were hooked.  Linda and Greg enjoyed many weekends at Carlyle Lake building a community of friends from near and far.

 

A visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129.) on Monday April 24th from 4-8PM. Then to St. David’s Catholic Church (2334 Tenbrook Rd, Arnold, MO 63010.) on Tuesday 4/25 for a 10:30AM mass  A graveside service will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery located at 1925 Old State Rd M, Barnhart, MO 63012. A luncheon will be provided at St David’s Parish following interment.  Memorial flowers can be sent to Kutis Funeral Home in honor of Linda Vitt.
