Thressa Paplanus (nee Bedingfield) passed away peacefully on Sunday April 16 2023.  She was born in Terrell, Texas on Friday, September 14, 1956 to Wylie and Pamala Bedingfield

Thressa was active in her Baptist church, making missionary trips to Africa and Muldova.  She volunteered at Oasis International, working as a receptionist and English teacher. She loved genealogy and spent countless hours researching and documenting the history of her extended family. She loved visiting family and was a devoted mother. Thressa was the beloved wife of Michael D Paplanus; dear mother of Peter (Maddie) née Mueller and Patrick Paplanus; step-mother of Michael (TeNisha) née Mortenson Paplanus; loving grandmother of Athena (Theenie), Analiese, Kieran and Marcel; dear sister of Linda Carroll, Peggy Bedingfield and Sarah (Kenneth) Letke plus numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, on Friday, April 21 from 4 to 8pm.  Then taken to The Journey Church, 8512 Morganford, 63123, on Saturday, April 22 for funeral service at 10am.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oasis international.
