Jim will always be remembered as a kind, sweet and loving brother-in-law. He loved to fish and spend time with his kids and grandkids. I don’t know how many hardboiled eggs he ate because he would call me several times a week to ask me how long to cook them. He would say I was his go to person after Helen died for help. God bless you and thank you to his children for the excellent loving care Jim had during his last few months of life. RIP
What a great man! I am honored to call him my Uncle.
Jim was a good person, kind, loving to all he met. Quite the dancer and loving husband to his wife, Helen They are now both together dancing to the song “Reunited and it feels so good”
To the Metz family, your dad was a wonderful person. After your mom past, he would keep up the tradition of calling everyone in your mom’s family a happy birthday on their birthday. He never missed mine and Diane’s birthday. Hugs to you all. Virginia and Diane
“Big” Jim was simply one of the nicest most humble human beings I have ever met. He kept life simple and raised an amazing family that have his same characteristics. In the old days when Jim and Johnny were on the dance floor, everyone took notice. One raising his shoulders up and down while the other was snap happy. Pure joy watching them. He will be sorely missed by everyone that was blessed to know him. I am honored that I was one of those people. Rest in peace Big Jim. Enjoy your reward for a life well lived.
Jimmy was a wonderful man who left a legacy of magnificent family members. This family means so much to so many people. Love to each of you.
