Beloved husband of Roberta Bachle (nee Lines); loving father of Carolyn (Casey) Ketterer, John (Laura) Bachle, Erin (Jeremy) Tyler; adoring grandfather of Christopher Ketterer, Courtney Ketterer, Bex (Nathan) Simpson, Sarah (Alex) Brown, Adeline Tyler, Amelia Tyler, Annabelle Tyler. Our dearest brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Dale donated his body to St. Louis University Center for Anatomical Science and Education as his last charitable act.

You were such a big part of our family. We have such a great extended family, and Dale was always there with his humor and wit. He will be greatly missed.
Dale was my boss back in my early days of my career at then Union Electric, now Ameren. He was very impactful in shaping my career. Truly a good man who cared about you and took efforts to know and grow you. He had a good sense of humor! He loved fixing old pinball machines and he was great at getting them going. I last saw him at Ameren about 10 years ago – he was working as a consultant, because he loved fixing substations also. So glad we got to talk then. May God bring comfort to his family, especially at this time. Good bye old friend.
I worked with Dale as a cohort who offered support and guidance in handling and promoting good work ethics and advice. He was very dedicated to people and the company and was always available at a moment’s notice. My wife and I also had the pleasure of taking Western Dance lessons with Roberta and him. Between the four of us, it was a sight to be seen. I continued to have the pleasure of working with him after he retired from Ameren as he worked as a dedicated consultant.
I have thought of him many times over the years of his kindness and dedication and concern for all.

I have so many fond memories of Mr. Bachle, and playing “Bachle Ball,” as my family referred to it. He was a generous and kind soul, and I will always remember him with much gratitude and joy. RIP, Coach.
