Rollins, Mary L. Born October 13, 1951 and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 71. Daughter of the late William and Audria Rollins. Loving mother of Carrie (Allan) Dookwah and Brian (Jennifer) Derby. Proud grandmother of Olivia and Penelope Dookwah, Katelyn, Jacob, Lucas and Max Derby. Dear great-grandmother of Miles and Archer Diamond. Our dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

So very sorry for your loss. Mary and I went to Central High School and we reconnected when we were on the planning committee for our 50 year 1969 class reunion. She was always fun and smiling. Mary and I worked together for many years at Hycel Properties Co. Besides being an excellent co worker, I got a bonus. Mary became my friend and we stayed in touch (probably less than we should have) but we always stayed in touch. I am so glad to have known her and for sharing the many the ups and downs for both her and me.. My heart goes out to Carrie, Allan, Olivia, and Penelope. Mary loved you so much. ❤️
Mary was our Senior Class Secretary at Central High School. Also one of the most beautiful. Never forget that smile. She was such a joy to be around. So glad we reconnected at our 50th high school reunion. Even though time separated us, reuniting with her at the planning meetings for the 50th, it was if we were never apart. That’s the beauty of friendship. We just picked up where we left off. Good speed, sweet Mary.
No words are adequate to express the loss felt in the passing of Mary. My sincere condolences to her family. She was such a joy to work with at the St. Louis County Housing Authority. I especially loved hearing stories of her beloved Olivia. Rest in heavenly peace Mary!
