Spengemann-Amelung, Mary A. (nee Schmidt) entered into rest on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Beloved wife of Dennis M. Amelung; loving mother of Deanna Spengemann, Rick Spengemann, Chris Spengemann, Deanna (Scott) Cauley and Beth (Glen) Pyatt; cherished grandma of Megan, Madison, Abby, Emilee and Katie; dearest daughter of Mae and the late Robert Schmidt, Sr.; sister of the Debbie (Denny) Piva, Bill (Mendy) Schmidt and the late Robert Schmidt, Jr.; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Wednesday, December 7, from 4 p.m. until time of service 7 p.m. with all services concluding at Kutis. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Lung Association appreciated.

I send my deepest condolences to the family as Mary was a part of my personal family as well on Facebook and part of the spiritual community she has made a big impact in my life as she has become considered like a surrogate mother to me and many here on Facebook we have been together for a decade she has changed an impacted so many people’s lives just by her presence her laughter and her love she will be deeply missed and always loved and never forgotten I love her dearly and I send the family my deepest love I will give you the love the same love that she gave me.
