Yoder, Levi J. passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Beloved husband of Doris Yoder (nee Craft) of 58 years; dearest brother of Mabel (the late Dan) Miller and the late Katherine (Joe) Yoder; brother-in-law of Joyce Craft, Betty Martell, Thomas (Ina) Craft, Margaret (the late Richard) Cunningham, Nita (Paul) Griffin, Ruth (Ted) Bruch, Steve (Carmen) Craft, the late David Craft, Bertha (Elmer) Jones, Ross (survived by Sue) Craft and John Mark Craft; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Graveside Service Friday, July 1, 11:15 a.m. from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. to Sunset Cemetery for an 11:30 a.m. Service.
Levi will be greatly missed. The kids always enjoyed seeing him in the backyard on his “tractor”. He was like grandfather to us all. Levi had story upon story about anything you could imagine. A favorite memory is when he and Doris were searching all over the house to find her glasses and lo and behold, Levi was wearing them the whole time. Watching the two of them laugh together and enjoy life was inspirational. He devoted his life to the Lord and you could see it in all that he did.
Lee was an absolute gentleman and the greatest craftsman. Always had a smirky smile.
His knowledge and abilities of carpentry and construction were amazing .
All of us will miss him.
I’m sorry to say, I just learned of Lee’s passing today. Lee had worked for my family for over forty years. The project, be it big or small, was always done with care. Whenever an emergency repair was needed, Lee was there. A kind and gentle soul, he was almost a member of the family and will be missed.
