Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 87.  Beloved husband of Mary Herbst-Nardoni for over 31 years; father to Damiano Herbst and Kim Klepac; brother-in-law of JoAnn Hunt; our dear grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Bill was born and raised on the Hill. His love of his Italian Heritage and St. Ambrose was evident over the years as he was a baseball, basketball and soccer coach there along with being a Founding Father of Hill 2000. He was proudest of his service to our country in the US Navy. Bill was a Vice President at Southwest Bank where he helped many startup businesses including restaurants and car dealerships. Retiree after 30 years of service as Deputy Water Commissioner for City of St. Louis.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Thursday, June 23, 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. then taken to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for visitation Friday, June 24, 8:00 a.m. until funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.  Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Sick & Elderly Program of the Hill (www.sickandelderly.com) or St. Ambrose Catholic Church appreciated.
