Of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the age of 74, due to complications from dementia. Linda was born on January 28, 1948, to the late Donald and Dorothy Boys.
She was united in marriage to the late Charles Richard “Butch” Cooper on May 11, 1968. The union was blessed with two children, Christopher Cooper and Jennifer McArthy (Greg). She was the beloved sister to Ronald “Ronnie” Boys (Shelly) and the loving grandmother to Cameron McArthy, Megan Cooper (Jose Gonzalez), Cory McArthy, Nathaniel Cooper and great-grandchildren Reya and Gabriel Gonzalez.
Linda retired from Macy’s, where she worked for many years as a customer service manager. She and Butch made their home in Arnold, Missouri.
She enjoyed spending most of her time at home “playing in her yard”, watching cheesy scary movies, doing puzzles, and reading horror novels. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always put her family first and created so many fun and special moments with her kids and grandkids.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Cory McArthy, and Elvis Presley. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Sunday 6/26 from 2Pm until time of service at 6PM. Interment at JB National cemetery at a later date.
My mind and heart are filled with so many fun memories spent with Linda. Countless BBQ’s, swimming parties, gardening and canning chores and endless hours of late night talks. Linda was one of the most committed and loyal person to her family. There is nothing she wouldn’t do to be of assistance to them. She will be missed. She was a great example for her family of the values she believed in.
So sorry to hear this, I have many great memories of time spent with Linda and Butch, and pray the family finds rest and comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Linda was truly one of the most amazing, selfless, devoted and loving ladies ever!! She was a great role model as a mom and a grandMOTHER to Megs and all of her grandkids!! She always seemed to put herself last and her family first! She will be missed! As Megan’s aunt, whenever I saw Linda at a family event…. A birthday, a wedding or baby shower, a gender reveal party etc, Linda always made sure she sat by me to chat and the topic was usually centered around how proud she was of her family!! She would go down the line and updated me on each one!!! I loved every minute!!!! “Friends may come and go, but family is forever!”, she would say! I could not agree more!!! I will miss her too!!! Sorrow is NOT forever… LOVE is! May the love that still surrounds you, be a source of comfort to you at this time!
