O’Brien, Jean A. (nee Neistat) Monday April 18, 2022. Beloved wife of Jerry Stogsdill. Dear mother of Kelly (John) Osia and Douglas (Lisa) O’Brien. Dear grandmother of Matthew, Gregory, Rachel, Logan and Lucas. Dear great grandmother of Ava and Jensen. Dear daughter of Phyllis Vaughn (nee Finazzo) and the late Edward (survived by Betty) Neistat. Dear sister of Lisa (Mark) Schmuke, Michelle (LeRoy) Schucardt and the late Kimberly Brandt. Our dear aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Jean was a retired letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service in the St. Louis area.
Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saturday April 30, 12:30 pm until service at 2:30 pm. Service concludes at the funeral home.

Kelly, Doug, and family, I’m sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful memories of being a kid that Jean helped make possible. Most of all, your mom was kind, generous, and protective and I’m grateful she was a part of my young adventurous self.

She was a good friend and we would occasionally have lunch together when she was working a route near mine. She was a wonderful lady who was proud of her family. She always talked about Jerry but I had never got to meet him. I’m deeply sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Jean’s family. We worked together at Sappington Post Office. I always considered her a dear friend and I was so shocked to hear of her passing. Prayers to you all.

Jean, Kelly and I all worked together at some time. I remember what a sweet lady she was. I know you all will miss her , but she is now wearing wings and walking beside our God. Bless you all. .
