Richard Earl Riefle, born February 12, 1941, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 23, 2022, with his daughters by his side. Loving survivors include two daughters, Tina Riefle and Roseann (Jason) Bruns, a brother Art Riefle, his favorite Aunt Iva Benskin, and a sister-in-law Elaine Dundon. He was a proud grandfather to Kaitlin & Logan Bruns, and Ashley, Sierra, & Jonathon Riefle.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Earl and Rosalie Riefle, his wife Mary Ann Riefle, and a son Kevin Riefle.

Richard grew up in St. Louis. He and Mary Ann Riefle were married on July 27, 1968. Together they raised three loving children in Kirkwood, MO. He worked at the VA Medical Center for 29 years before retiring in 1997. They spent their retirement  in Imperial, MO.

You could find him umpiring softball many summer nights. He loved playing cards with family and friends and enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Friday, January 28 at Kutis Funeral Home in South County, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, MO 63129. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 29, 10 AM at Kutis Funeral Home South County followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, in St. Louis
