Gregg S. Maschmann Sunday, January 23, 2022, dear husband of the late Debbie Maschmann; loving dad of Kala (Trent) Lagasse and all living creatures. Dear brother of Holly (Howard) Stever and the late Scott Maschmann, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a First Master Sargent in the United States Air Force.
Funeral at Kutis South County 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Saturday, January 29, 12 pm. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-8 pm.
My Dear Gregg, (with two G’s) we grew up together, you were my crazy brother from another mother! We have been through some fun times over the years. I am so happy we could just pick up the phone after long times being out of touch and begin talking as if it were yesterday. My friend, you have been through so much these years, and you kept enduring the ups and downs dealt to you – all with a smile on your face. Now you are out of pain and hope its true that you are back with your brother, parents and wife. Hey, send me a sign that you are there! Just know that you are loved and will be missed by me and Lin, and many many more. You brought up Kala to love life and follow her own path, just as you did as a young man. She will do well in this world. Also, I want to thank you for your service to this country. Love you much Greggy!
Gregg was a great guy, first person I made friends with when I started in the Air National Guard at Jefferson Barracks ANGS. An excellent First Sergeant and all around great guy. Amazing how he could stay right with me on the beers and never seemed to gain any weight. Miss you Man, see you in a bit.
Kala, I first met and worked with your Dad at LDX (a long distance phone Co.) back in the mid 80’s. We both were hired at DMA at the same time in 85 and worked together for many years.
We have enjoyed many fishing trips, softball games, and barbecues together That I still have memories of today.
Your Dad is a good man and a good friend that will be sorely missed.
