Hodges (nee Allen), 92, of Imperial, MO passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022 at Scenic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum, MO. Born in Potosi, MO, Gladys was a member of the Jefferson Heights Baptist Church and raised four daughters and a son who blessed her with a large loving family. Gladys spent many years providing childcare for her grandchildren and great grandchildren leaving many fond memories. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and was a big St Louis Cardinals fan. Gladys was the youngest daughter of the late Harry and Mamie Allen of Potosi, MO and was married to the late Hyroline E (Pete) Hodges.

Gladys is survived by three daughters, Donna (Orvil) Loge of Ava, MO, Sharon (Richard) Adams of Barnhart, MO, Karen (Mike) Bragg of Marion, AR and H.E. (Bub) Hodges II of Imperial, MO. Gladys had 15 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 7 great-great children, and one sister.

Gladys was preceded in death by daughter, Judith E Vuylsteke; grandsons, Derek Vuylsteke and Lucas Adams; great granddaughter, Shellby Loge; great-great granddaughter, Andi Loge; and seven siblings. Gladys will always be remembered as a kind loving woman who will be missed by many.

Services; Visitation will be Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129 with a funeral immediately following and interment at Shepard Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greater Missouri Alzheimer’s Association.
