Passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2021.

Beloved husband for 44 years of Patricia (nee Duke); loving father to Christopher (Abby), Michael, and Jeffrey (Jennifer); and proud grandfather of Harvey.

Bob was an educator, fisherman, golfer, dog lover, video poker player, football fan and joke teller.

Bob was born on August 29, 1949, in St. Louis, MO to the late Gertrude and Frederick Faust. His older brother was the late Fred (Ruth) Faust, Jr. He graduated from Cleveland High School and earned a B.A. from Elmhurst University then a M.A. from Webster University and a second Masters in Education from Southwest Baptist University. Bob, or Mr. Faust, as he known by many at Oakville High School, was a true fan of education, believing that everyone would benefit from being a life long learner.

Spending time with his family brought him great joy. Bob was a true handyman, having rehabbed several homes, and was insistent that he pass those skills on to his sons. When Bob wasn’t cutting grass in the summer or chasing leaves in the fall to maintain his well-manicured lawn, you could find him on the golf course or fishing for trout at Bennett Springs State Park.

Bob was elated to welcome his first grandson into the world this year and savored every minute of watching Harvey grow over these past four months. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Services: Per his wishes, funeral services will be private. In celebration of Bob’s life, if you would like, donations can be made on his behalf to a charity of your choice. A service of KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL
