Treppler, Walter William “Wally” age 60, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Alana Treppler (nee Ball); loving father of Lauretta Morgan; cherished son of the late Walter and Senator Irene Treppler; dear brother of John M. (Jane), Steven A. (Carol) and Diane V. Anderson; our dear son-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Saturday, August 28, from 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled Athlete Sports Assn or Tigerlili Resources appreciated

What a privilege it was to work (remotely this past year) with Wally on important video projects. He was unfailingly warm, helpful, professional, and kind. I know that he loved his family deeply, just as he loved life. May he now Rest In Peace. Please accept my sincere condolences on Wally’s passing.

Such a great man. Fun, funny, intelligent, caring. Our heart breaks for his family, but we are happy to know of Wally’s strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ who promises eternal life for those who believe in him. Wally, you will be missed terribly, but we look forward to jamming with you again in heaven.

Wally was a great, kind soul. Proud to be his friend. Prayers for his family
I am so incredibly saddened at the loss of Wally, but so thankful and blessed that I got to know him and work with him over the past few years! He was an absolute joy to work with on our podcast, and we would often stay on 10-15 minutes after we were done recording just chatting and cutting up. My condolences to Wally’s whole family on the loss of their loved one. He will be greatly missed (and forever loved) by all who knew him.

Wally was a wonderful colleague. He was the consummate professional, always cheerful to work with, and I loved recording podcasts with him at the technical helm. He helped us record 6 podcasts, and his contributions changed how readers interfaced with our journal. I will miss working with him, and you all are in my thoughts.

It isn’t easy to find the words to express my feelings when there are no words that can fully capture the depth of what I am feeling.
For the few months I’ve been able to know Wally, I am able to express that he was a huge impact on my spiritual life. After growing distant from the church these past couple of years, Wally has motivated me to become involved again with the church through the Messiah Tech Team. Ever since I first learned how to operate the camera, every minute with him was a blast. He motivated me to come to church and serve the Lord through the Tech Team, and never failed to be able to make me laugh over one small detail on a camera shot. He always asked me to brighten the picture, or move a little bit to the left, which I always trusted him. I wouldn’t just call Wally a partner, he is my friend. Every time I serve for the church, I will remember Wally, a friend, a mentor, a hero. Again, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I am sharing in your sorrow.

What a beautiful impression Wally left3on my life as we served on worship team together.
My son wrote me a letter once from boot camp that had the words ” I pray God’s taking care of your heart”. After he passed, I had those words tattooed on my arm.
My prayer for you, Alana, is for God to take care of you heart.
I’m still in shock and disbelief ! Wally was a good friend and someone who knew how to play well with others both me and my Brother Jim were blessed to be able to jam with him . I will miss that smile and that wit , and to see his interactions with all he was around at the social events . I am so sorry I could not be there with you both Saturday, I had a prior commitment I could not change. I am sure you were surrounded by so much Love and Support because that is what Wally always showed to others! So much of his life was giving of himself, sharing his time and talents! I knew Wally from my High School days. Along with many of the Wally’s other friends we did music together. I was at Wally and Gregs house in South St. Louis back in the late seventy’s early eighties and Wally did the lead guitar on a song I wrote called “Ice Cream Baby”. I still have the recording. He was a very talented and we had much in common. We both loved video and film making. He will be missed. My heart goes out to all his family.
