Dennis J. Breitenstein suddenly passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marcella Breitenstein (nee Marquardt), infant child Sarah Breitenstein, and nephew, Seth Breitenstein. Survivors include wife, Anita Breitenstein (nee Narez) and daughters, Renee (Dale Weissler), Teresa (Troy Eaton), and Margaret Breitenstein; 4 grandchildren Aiden and Ian, and Tyler and Torri; and siblings Frank (Valerie) Breitenstein,  MaryAnn (Eugene) Nottmeier, and Paul (Kathryn) Breitenstein. Survivors also include several dear nieces and nephews and friend to many.

Dennis was a long-time employee and retiree from Southwestern Bell, union member of CWA, long-time, dedicated parishioner of Sacred Heart Valley Park and long-time member of Knights of Columbus. Dennis also was loyal to the cause of Right to Life. He held dear his volunteer work with the Knights of Columbus and helping his family and friends. Dennis’ favorite things in life were spending time with family, friends, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, old movies and westerns.

Dennis will be sorely missed by all. His cheer, his smile, his laugh, his unwavering faith and willingness to help anyone.

Services: Visitation will be on August 18th from 4pm-8pm at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton. Mass will be held at Sacred Heart at 10:30am on August 19th.  Internment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.   Family and friends reception will be held at the church immediately after.
