Wooldridge, Jennings D.  of Crestwood, MO was ushered into Heaven by the Savior he loved on April 15, 2016.

Born May 6 in Arkansas to Lehman and Lura Wooldridge. After high school he joined the Army serving in the Signal Corps in Korea. He made his home in St. Louis where he worked for Southwestern Bell / CWA. Jennings retired after serving with distinction. He met his sweetheart in St. Louis and married Ruth (McNiel) Wooldridge April 3, 1954 at Tower Grove Baptist Church.

He was passionate about his Lord Jesus, his wife Ruth, his daughter Angela (Bruce) Scott, and his granddaughter Emiley (Brett) McMillan. He was also active in his churches.

Jennings was loved and respected by all and his legacy will live on.

Committing his life to Jesus Christ means he will live on in Heaven and will be reunited with his loved ones who have also committed their lives to Christ.

He is survived by his youngest brother Jerry Wooldridge; Jim McNiel; Billie Ann McNiel; Judi McNiel (Lou) Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Visitation will be 5 p.m.-8 p.m., Sunday, April 17 at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel. Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Monday, April 18 at South County Baptist Church. An additional visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
