Tinkham, Jeanette Loretta

(nee Thompson) of St. Louis passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021.  Beloved wife of Edwin Tinkham.  Loving mother of Karen (Raymond) Griesedieck, Jim (Cindy) Tinkham, Jane (Rob) Cook, John (Liz) Tinkham and Tom Tinkham.  Treasured grandmother of fifteen.

Jeanette was the oldest child of Russell and Dollie Thompson.  She was a dedicated and loving wife, a devoted and attentive mother, a beloved grandmother, and a loyal and generous friend. She was smart and funny and a keen judge of character.  She enriched the lives of those who knew her and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Thompson.   She is survived by Edwin, her husband of 67 years, her brother Tom (Joan) Thompson, and all her children and grandchildren. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Nurses for Newborns.

Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, July 13, 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. Interment JB National Cemetery.
