Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Monday, July 12, 9 a.m. to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church (Ferguson) for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Masses greatly appreciated. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.

Carla was a dedicated teacher. Certainly will be missed.

I am with great sadness to know that this has happened. I remember being alongside her in Choir, Convocation and the many club meetings. It is with great sorrow that this has happened. But I give my condolences to the family of our beloved Carla. Carla may you rest peacefully in Heaven

Carla’s warm smile and constant humor made her a pleasure to be around. I will forever remember her laughing and dancing in class and in the dorms. May her light continue to shine through all of us who knew her. Hugs and prayers for her sweet mother!

So sorry to hear of Carla losing her battle with cancer. Way too young to have this happen. I had her in HS at Rosary(now Trinity) and she was such a nice person. She and the family will be in my prayers.

My desk calendar recently had the quote “oh the places you’ll go” from Carla’s favorite Dr. Suess. She has gone on to a most beautiful place and is at peace.
