SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, on Saturday, July 3 from 12 noon until funeral service at 2 pm. Mr. Landa was a MP for the Army and was a Sergeant in the St. Louis City Police Department for 35 years.

When Mike came to our rural water office I remembered he had the prettiest white hair and had such a nice presence and we enjoyed visiting with him. Randy was a coworker of Mike’s at Monroe City. He really enjoyed being around Mike and listening to his experiences and seeing him in the neighborhood. We are sorry to hear of his passing and wishing his family the best with your fondest memories.

Condolences to the Landa family! Mike and I along with others use to deer hunt together in the 80’s. He was a friend and great guy! We never worked together as cops, but his reputation as a police officer and sergeant are second to none. I am sorry for your lose.
Our heart goes out to Mike’s children and family. Mike was our neighbor. Always kind and friendly. Always had a smile, ready for a chat and always willing to lend a hand for a neighbor in need. Be at rest, Mike. We will miss you on our street.
