February 25, 1928 – January 14, 2021
Bob was born on February 25, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of John and Elizabeth Fauser, brother of John (‘Jack’) Fauser.
Bob served in the Navy during WWII and enjoyed telling many fascinating stories about his time served. He was a boxer, loved playing tennis, enjoyed playing bridge with friends, and he was a successful businessman. Bob always held on to his youthful personality, loved to have fun, and ensured everyone around him was smiling by telling his many jokes.
Bob is survived by many people that love him:
- His wife Joyce Weinstock
- His daughter Sandy Bergt and her husband Jon Bergt
- His daughter-in-law Vicki Fauser
- His stepchildren Juli and Tim Laramie, Vicki and Chris Robinson, and Jennifer and Keith Gerstein
- His many loving grandchildren: Laura Lee and Eric Bausell, Scotty Bergt, Alex Fauser, Kathryn and Miles Morton, Ben and Alisha Fauser, Jennifer Wylie Fauser, Jennifer and Sunny Holman, Scott, Jacob, and Marina Robinson, Austin, Holly and Lindsey Laramie, and Eric and Nicole Gerstein
- His great grandchildren: Cole, Marjorie, Adelaide, and Lucilia Bausell, Hendrix and Marley Holman, Saylah, Audrey, and Isaac Fauser, and Harrison Morton
- His many dear friends
Services: Due to COVID, service is for immediate family only. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
Joyce and all your family, we are so very sorry for your huge loss. Bob was one heck of a guy. We were so glad to have known him. Take solace in knowing he is enjoying his fabulous, deserving reward.

My sincere condolences to Joyce and the family. I thoroughly enjoyed playing tennis and bridge with Bob during our retirement years, and was always impressed by his recollections of jokes and stories, even when they sometimes held up the game in progress. So sorry to learn of his passing.
Joyce, my deepest condolences on the passing of Bob. I remember all the fun we had playing water volleyball, bridge and watching him play tennis with the group. He will certainly be missed.
What a character! What a guy! I knew Bob from bridge, tennis, water volleyball, and more! He was one of a kind! I visited him in hospitals, when you thought he’d never get out, but he always did. I always enjoyed time I spent with Joyce and Bob. He loved to talk, tell stories, and remember the past. He wanted to outlive us all.
May the good memories last a lifetime. May it be of some comfort to know your friends care. He may be gone, but never forgotten. His obituary with photos brought back so many wonderful memories. He will be missed by many. Hugs
