  Beloved husband of the late Jeannine Gorla (nee Navratil); dearest dad of Karen (Steven) Schott, Gary (Cindy) , Mark (Stacy) Gorla and Debra (James) Piel; dear grandpa of Eric, Andrew (Andrea), Ryan Schott, Christine (Nathan) Hartmann, Josh, Nathan, Sarah Piel, Jack and the late Melissa Gorla; great-grandpa of Anastasia, Genevieve Schott and Viktor Hartmann; dear brother of the late Joseph (survived by Agnes) Gorla; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Charlie was a Union Carpenter for over 50 years.  He loved wood working and made wooden toys for Children’s Hospital.

Visitation Friday, January 29, 9:30 a.m. until time of Service 11:30 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
