Beloved husband of the late Jeanette Slavik; dear father of Toni (Ken) Ungerman and Steve (Sandy Vance) Slavik; cherished grandfather of Michelle (Mike) Baese and the late Jennifer Ungerman and great-grandfather of Christian Baese and Olivia Baese; special friend of Marlene Wind; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Mr. Slavik faithfully served his country in the US Army in Korea.
Services: Services private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. A Kutis South County Chapel Service
My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Slavik family. I did not know Mr. Slavik personally, but knew him through the musings of his daughter, Toni, who loved him so very deeply. Praying for God’s comfort upon the family. May your memories be a soothing balm during this difficult time.
Toni I want to offer you and your family my condolences on the loss of your dad. He was a dear friend of mine many years ago. We had a
lot of good times and memories. He was a great guy. We were in
touch a few times these last couple of years and hashed over those fun
