Hogg, Eugene Richard

Beloved husband for 51 years to the late Georgianna Marie Hogg (nee Bahr); devoted father to Frank and Philip Hogg and Marigene (Tim) Lorson; proud PaPa of Eleanor and Elizabeth Lorson; dear brother to the late Robert, Evelyn and  Jerome Hogg; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Eugene lived a joyful life of loving service to his family, community and God for over 89 years. Eugene was a man of immense faith, unending kindness, boundless charity and who was always concerned more about the welfare of others than himself. Eugene’s generous and loving spirit gave to all he met along the way and he never asked for or expected anything in return.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, February 23, 4-8 p.m. Memorial Mass at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church (6603 Christopher Dr., Oakville, MO) Wednesday, February 24 at 10 a.m. Eugene has donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Monastery of St. Clare of the Immaculate  Conception, 200 Marycrest Dr. St. Louis, MO 63129 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
