Richard, my beloved friend, you will be greatly missed. What a good friend you were. You were a great listener, encouraging, honest and trustworthy, caring and generous, respectful and most of all accepting and non judgmental. To Mrs. Singer, Ana and family, peace be with you. Richard was definitely in God’s grace and friendship. He achieved the holiness necessary to enter the joy of God for eternal salvation. God bless!

not afraid of the road, only afraid of short.
I became acquainted with Richard in 2012 while we were waiting for radiation treatments. After being released we met almost monthly for brunch and conversation, sometimes for 2 o3 hours. Richard was a deep thinker who cared deeply about people, and especially his family. While we disagreed somewhat politically – I, Left Center; Richard, Right Center – we respected each others’ opinions, because we both thought the center was the right place to be. I’m sure he was a great teacher because he was a great listener. He was a close, treasured friend. He left us too soon. I will miss his wise counsel and his sense of humor. I was lucky to have known him.
I appreciated Richard’s grace and love he displayed while working at the International Institute. He will be missed by many. May we all feel peace in our hearts. Thank you Richard for your service.

Richard was such a kind, gentle man. Well liked by everyone. Always positive. As his co-worker I remember him in front of his classroom, smiling ear to ear, throwing a large soft ball to students to encourage them to talk.
