William Roger Johnson Jr., 60, of Imperial died Feb. 16, 2016, in St. Louis. Mr. Johnson was a welder in a machine shop. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born Oct. 27, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of Malora Jean Bishop of Barnhart and the late William Roger Johnson Sr. and the stepson of the late Alton Manuel Bishop. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Sheri (Qui) Johnson of St. Louis; a son: Brandon Lee Johnson of Imperial; a daughter: Jamie Leigh Johnson of Park Hills; two brothers: Alton Dean (Mary) Bishop of Euless, Texas, and Daniel Joseph (Carrie) Bishop of Arnold; and a sister: Robin Yvonne (John) Strong of Festus.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at First Baptist Church of Horine, 2339 School Dr., in Pevely, officiated by Pastor Chris Goodwin. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of  Kutis Funeral Home.
