(nee Schott) 97, of Imperial, died February 7, 2016.

   Born 1918 in St. Louis. She was the daughter of Clara and John Schott. She was preceded in death by her husband Larue Hoyle and daughter Geraldine Miller (nee Hoyle).

   Verna worked for Famous & Barr from which she retired after 40 years. 

   She is survived by her two sons, Dave Hoyle, of Imperial (daughter-in-law Pam Hoyle) and James Hoyle, of St. Louis (daughter-in-law Cathy Hoyle); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and one sibling, Ginny  Meyer.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Friday, February 12 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Trinity Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 5-8 p.m.
