January 20, 1943 – December 15, 2019

Edwin Kampman was born in St. Charles, MO on January 20, 1943, a son of Edwin Francis (Frank) and Elvira (Schwendeman) Kampman. He married JoAnn Raymo on January 31, 1970 in St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are two children, Kenneth (Laurie) Kampman of O’Fallon MO and Tamara Kampman (Kevin Teague) of House Springs, MO. One daughter, Cindy Beall, preceded him in death. Additional surviving family include 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene Sachs of Montgomery City, MO and Carol Ryan of St. Charles, MO; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Sinamon and Bev Raymo, both of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ed retired from General Motors after 43 years of service in the parts department. He liked to play poker with friends and family, enjoyed a good cigar, and loved to hear a funny joke.  His grandchildren and great grandchildren brightened his days.  Ed worked hard for his family throughout his life and he will be greatly missed.

Service Information: Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., Friday, December 20, 11:45 AM. Interment Concordia Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
