Asleep in Jesus on Friday, January 8, 2016. Beloved husband for 51 years of JoAnn Sahrhage (nee Shikles); loving father of Marilyn (William) Robben, Karen (Scott) Luthy, John (Melissa) Sahrhage and Mark (Rachel) Sahrhage; cherished grandfather of Kristin, Emily, Melanie, Joshua, Jacob, Riley, Jack, Austin and Kamryn; dear brother of Shirley (Dave) Irby; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Sahrhage was a barber for over 14 years and was also a science teacher in Columbia, IL from 1965 to 1978.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Tuesday, January 12 from 4-8pm then at Faith Lutheran Church 6101 Telegraph on Wednesday from 9am until service time at 10am. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, The family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, payable to JoAnn Sahrhage. The funds collected will be donated  in his honor at the Montauk Rose Holland Trout Tournament, in October of 2016, by his family. Don and family attended this tournament annually.
