MARY DANIELE, 95, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2019. She was married to Nathan (Del) Daniele in 1948, until his passing in July of 1997. She is survived by her three children, Josephine Parrott (Bob), Dan Daniele, and Joe Daniele (Anna).  She is also survived by her last living sibling Stella Accardi. She was preceded in death by siblings Angelina Trueman, Sarah Garozzo, and Benny Nicolosi. She has six grandchildren, Gina Parrott, Michelle Parrott Halbman (Robert), Danielle Daniele, Brittany Daniele, Joe Daniele, and Alex Daniele.  We were blessed and thankful that she was able to spend time with her great grandchildren, Benjamin Enloe, Nicholas Enloe, Hadley Halbman, Dominic Daniele, Joe Jr. Daniele, Lana Daniele, Matthew Daniele, and Alex Jr. Daniele

Still living alone, she was as funny, honest, opinionated, witty and spunky as always, with a memory better than any of ours! Mary was the Queen of Sauce and Meatballs at Ruma’s Deli until the age of 73 years young! Everyone loved her red Velvet cake. Her Cassada cake was another specialty, not to mention the Italian Christmas cookies. Her home was filled with all her family on the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, and we never missed Ravioli dinner on New Year’s Day.  Everyone was always welcomed in Mary’s kitchen, where you never left hungry. For years on Saturday she took the bus downtown to Famous Barr for shopping, and lunch at Miss Hulling’s.  Then she found an interest in slot machines, she loved the Casino Queen!  She was a woman who let you know what was on her mind, and if you needed advice, with or without asking, she would definitely give it to you! She’s in Heaven right now chasing grandpa around, yelling “Honey!” We love you so much Grams! We will miss you more than words can explain.

In lieu of flowers, Mary would appreciate a donation in her honor to American Diabetes Association.
