, 55 of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Smithton, IL, passed away at his residence on January 14th, 2019. John was born on June 9th, 1963 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL. John took pride in his work managing warehouses for oil companies in the St. Louis Metro area for over 30 years. During his career, he worked at Kiesel, J.D. Streett, and Sieveking oil companies. In addition to his full-time work, he worked part-time managing valet parking for special events and driving a limousine in Clayton, Missouri. John was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. His charismatic and lighthearted personality brought joy and laughter to so many people. John loved to spend vacations with family and friends at the beaches along the Florida Gulf Coast. Surviving are his loving and devoted sons, Jerry Lang and Brent Lang; his brother Cris Lang; his beloved grandson Alan Lang and daughter-in-law Ilse Lang; and special and devoted friends Jennifer McCray and Brad Kalish. John is preceded in death by his loving parents, Cornelia V. Lang, nee Armbruster and Jerome F. Lang.

Service; Memorial visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel at (5255 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, Missouri 63129) on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 12:00 (Noon) until service time at 2:00PM. Memorial donations may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
