Passed away on Thursday, September 20th, 2018.

Dennis was born to the late Ray and Minnie (nee Deblase) Moore on December 22, 1943. Beloved husband to Elizabeth “Libby” (nee Elliott) Moore; loving father to Patrick Clancy (Stephanie) and Kevin (Emily) Moore; grandfather to Abigail, Matthew, Clara and Nolan; dear brother of Barbara (Thomas) Lux;uncle to Janice Wadsack. Beloved friend, teacher and former coach of many.

Dennis was a family man, married to Libby for 50 love-filled years, a devoted father to Clancy and Kevin, and a doting grandfather. He was also a dedicated teacher and a decorated coach. He began his career at his alma mater, McBride High School in St. Louis, MO. When McBride closed, he continued at John Burroughs School in Ladue, MO, where he stayed from 1972 until his retirement in 2009. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, as well as a sports fan; he especially enjoyed watching football, golf, basketball and Cardinal baseball. Travel played a big part in Dennis’ life, from exploring the US with his family while his sons were growing up, to trips with his wife to Europe, Canada, Mexico and Hawaii. Dennis was loved by many and will be missed.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd 63123 on Thursday September 27 from 3:00 pm until Memorial Service time at 7:00 pm.
