Suddenly, unexpectedly, and peacefully, September 7, 2018.  Beloved wife of Jim; devoted mother of Ren and Dave;  amazing grandmother to Maggi and Zack; ecstatic great-grandmother to Arthur, and “Grandma Gerry” to any child within range. Sister to Bob Rush, Gary Rush, Betty Ruff, Sandy O’Bryan, Billy Rush and the late Jim and Lee Rush.

Believer in Disney magic, solver of puzzles, spoiler of children, and role model. Possessor of quiet strength and noisy,  infectious laughter. Rider of roller coasters. Confiscator of cell phones at restaurants. So dignified that she’d only flip you off with her index finger. Joyous traveler, talented seamstress,  reluctant cook, and dedicated gardener. Equally happy in a dress and diamonds, or elbow deep in a bag of manure.

Departs leaving a hole in our hearts the same size as her love-immeasurable.
