Hartmann, William A. “Bill” 85, went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Geri Hartmann (nee Feld); dear son of the late Elmer and Myrtle (nee Ferber) Hartmann; dear father of Randy (Karen) Hartmann and Tina Hartmann; dearest grandfather and PawPaw of Matthew and Alyson Hartmann and Amber Stranghoener; dearest great-grandfather of Grace and Jessie; dear brother-in-law of Marilyn (Jim) Murphy and Shirley Feld (companion Chuck Buechel); dear cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many including those who stood in service with him in the military, church and Knights of Columbus, and his long time friends on Ellen Dr., of which we cannot thank enough for all of their thoughts, support and prayers throughout the years. Mr. Hartmann was a 33 year veteran of The U.S. Air Force and until his passing he was very active in The Knights of Columbus for over 40 years in the Immaculate Conception and St. David parishes in Arnold. He was a former Grand Knight, Fourth Degree Member, former Commander of the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard and self-proclaimed expert fish breader for all the K of C Fish Frys. Bill will be sadly missed not only as a friend but also as a mentor and great fishing buddy to his son and grandson.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, August 7, 9:30 a.m. to St. David Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Knights of Columbus Charities or to the Cancer Research Institute. Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m.
