Dear father of Jason (Kristie) and Daniel Brinkman. Dear grandfather of Katelyn, Austin, Addison and Shane Brinkman. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many. He was a lifelong soccer fan, player and coach. He enjoyed cruising in his classic cars and the camaraderie that came with showing and restoring them.
SERVICES: Visitation at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Tue., Aug. 30, 9AM until funeral Mass at 10AM. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Macular Degeneration Foundation (P.O. Box 515 Northampton, MA 01061-0515) or American Heart Association (7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231) appreciated. I really liked Jim. He was a good friend and a real man. I’m sure that he will go to Heaven and Rest In Peace. I’m sorry for his family’s loss.

My sympathies to the Jim Brinkman family. I was truly saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I’ve known Jim since our days at St. Mary’s High School. We’ve had many great times over the years.
