It is with great sadness, we announce our beloved, Nicholas John Adams departed this life on Monday March 7th, 2022 at the age of 44 in Arnold, MO.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Holly Adams (née Carter); his two children he adored, son Cade Adams and daughter Elena Adams; his mother, Anne Adams (née Karase)/Robert Pessina; his sister, Jennifer Pease (née Adams)/David Pease; his sister, Rebecca Nix (née Adams)/William Nix III; his sister, Heather O’Mara (née Adams)/Casey O’Mara, beloved nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Nick is preceded in death by his father, James Edmund Adams and his brother, James William Adams.
Nick graduated from Rockwood Summit High School in 1996 with dreams of becoming an artist or writer as he had a vivid imagination and a sensitive soul. While Nick saved up for school, he found a way to channel his creativity by taking a job in the graphic design and printing business. Nick continued to dabble in the arts as he worked full time, painting abstract images or writing short stories and poems. Nick had a strong work ethic and would always take the call to come in for extra hours when the company needed him and somehow also managed to enroll in a few college classes to pursue his dreams. One of those college classes is where he would meet his future wife and mother of his beautiful children. Nick’s wife and children were his crown and glory, the absolute joys of his life.
Nick absolutely loved the outdoors and could always be found near a river kayaking or canoeing, relaxing near a campfire, or enjoying a baseball game. Nick was known for his love of music and was inclined to send music videos and lyrics to loved ones to communicate his feelings and thoughts or just to let them know he was thinking of them.
Nick loved his family, often coordinating camping trips and concerts/plays with his children and siblings to share his passions with the people he loved.
Nick enjoyed playing pranks on people or putting on ridiculous performances to get people to laugh and forget about their woes if only for a little while; when Nick laughed, one could not help but laugh with him. Nick will be sorely missed and we pray he rests in peace.
Visitation will be at Kutis Funeral Home 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123 on March 19th, 2022 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and service will begin at 2:30pm. Many of you have reached out asking how you can help Nick’s family during this time. We appreciate your compassion and thoughtfulness, and we ask for prayers that his family may find peace concerning this devasting and unexpected loss. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate monetary donations to help support Nick’s wife and children as they navigate this tragedy. Below is a link to the charity set up for Nick’s family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Nick’s Family and Friends.
I’ve known Anne for several years. If there is one thing that always stood out about Anne, it would be the love for and of her family. They are close, tight and full of love for one another and for others.
This love has carried this family through difficult times with love, respect and caring. I feel this family will together stay strong and supportive throughout another trying time.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers,
Love and condolences, Fran Weasr
What a lovely tribute. I am praying for you all for comfort and healing.
Brother Nick, I just don’t understand why. I know you were hurting and we have been reaching out to each other. I prayed with you over the phone and for you in secluded silence. I’m broken to hear this sad news. I was really hoping we could have rekindled our friendship. The baseball games we went to together and the classes we shared at Meremac will not be forgotten. I will sincerely miss you and love you much! You have made a great impact in my life!

Nick was such a part of our lives in our house and neighborhood. He was so proud of his family and I was so touched he included me on Facebook and I could see his lovely family and still be in contact all those years . ❤️
A friend, made thru work. Made thru sharing musical tastes. Talks about Muse, Chevelle, and others. Nick would give recorded discs at next service call. A good man will be missed, by all who knew him.

My prayers go out to your family. May God lift you up and comfort you all. So sorry for this loss.
Nick was special! He had so much love and laughter in his heart, it enveloped everyone around him. I cherish the memories of his joy, the way he grew leaps and bounds once he met his future wife, Holly, and the adoration with which he looked upon his children from the moment they came into this world on. His spark would be dearly missed by all and my head goes out to all those whoes lives he touched and who loved him. My deepest condolences!!!
There are no words that will comfort all of you who loved Nick at this sad time. Hope you can all find a little comfort knowing he is at peace and in comfort now. Holly, my grandson will always remember Nick teaching him to use a bow and arrow and how much fun he had spending the night at your house with Cade. You both showed a lot of patience! Hope you can all soon reason a happy life before long. It’s what Nick would want.
So so sorry for your loss. Very sad!
God bless the entire family during this time of loss and sadness! I know Nick will be missed. I pray that God and family will bring strength to each affected person.
Thank you all for your love and support. It has brought great comfort to Nick’s family and friends.
Holly, Cade & Elena I am so very sorry for your loss.
I’m very sorry that I only found out today of Nick’s passing, and missed out on attending the services.
Nick was a good friend that I made through working together. When we were on smoke breaks together, he would often pridefully share about something/anything you were doing or had done.
I can only imagine the hole in your lives now that he’s gone.
I know that I truly miss him.
My sincere condolences to you all.
