(nee Waeltermann), Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, April 17, 2021. Beloved wife (44 years) of Bruce Brooks; dear mother of Irene (Tolga); sister of Lawrence (Mary Ann); our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Ruth graduated from St. Pius V Grade School, St. Elizabeth High School and Mizzou School of Journalism. After retiring from the Mehlville School District she enjoyed a second career as an ESL Teacher at the International Institute. Singing in the choir brought her much joy. The family is grateful to the dedicated staff at Mary, Queen and Mother Center for their passionate care. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Francis Cabrini Academy, 3022 Oregon, 63118.
Services: Funeral from Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois, Friday, April 23 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Pius V Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 until 7 p.m.
Ruth was always filled with joy every time I saw her walking in the neighborhood. She will be sorely missed, I am grateful to have gotten to know her. Sending love to Bruce and Irene. Ellen Wilson

I have so many happy shared memories with Ruth on Juniata st for 40 years. From raising our kids to enjoying the leisure of our retirements. Bruce and Irene please accept my condolences.
