Beloved husband of the late Diane Hemmerla (nee Owens); loving father of Karen (Roy) Jaros, Susan (Steve) Aubuchon and David (Rachel)  Hemmerla; dear grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, Raquel,  Jennifer, Melanie, Luke, Joshua and Roman; dear brother of Robert  Hemmerla; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Hemmerla was a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts, a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church and served in the US Army and Air Force Reserves.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Saturday, March 19, 10:00 a.m. Interment Valhalla cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to New Covenant United Methodist Church (900  Bellerive Blvd. 63111) appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4-9 p.m.
