Knelle, Albert H. “Al”, Jr.

died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of the late Edna L. Knelle (nee Bearling) for 64 years; loving father of Kathy Binkley, Denice (Dave) Greaves and Keith (Elizabeth) Knelle; loving PaPa to Matthew, Michael and Mallory Greaves, Kayla, Karalyn, Kristen, Kurtis and Kenton Knelle; a dear friend to many, including the  residents/staff at Delmar Gardens.

Al worked for 10 years on steam engines at Frisco prior to working at  Monsanto for 32 years. He was a member of Magnolia-Euclid #626, Scottish Rite, Moolah Shrine, Odd Fellows and the Crestwood Elks Lodge. Al believed strongly in volunteering and did so for many organizations throughout his lifetime.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Friday, March 11, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Masonic Service at 7 p.m. then taken to Southminster Presbyterian Church (10126 E. Watson Rd.), Saturday, March 12 for visitation at 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m.  Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to Shriners Hospital  appreciated.
