Mary Ann Horn, December 19, 1944 – February 6, 2019
Mary was born and raised in St. Ann, MO. She had one brother and six sisters. She attended St. Gregory Catholic School. She enjoyed cheerleading and crocheting. She was a talented artist and loved to paint. She married and had five children. She became a grandmother to seventeen grandchildren. She lived a full life, rich with love and laughter. Her family was everything to her. She loved and embraced her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. In addition to caring for her family, she was a true and loyal friend. She volunteered her time at the Independence Center. She was selflessly committed to helping others and had a way of making everyone feel special. Mary was a nurturer and had the heart of a child. She was loved and will be missed by all that knew her. Mary was a loving wife to the late Kenneth O’Donnell. She was a loving wife to Ronald Horn. She was a proud mother to Julia (Michael) Klatch, Mary O’Donnell, Mark Anthony, Michelle (Samuel) Barbagallo, and Ronald (Ling) Horn. She was a devoted grandmother to Amelia, Abigail, Audrey, Skylr, Gage, Tyler, Shylyn, Grayden, Scarlette, Griffin, Gabriel, Shayla, Samuel Jr., Vincent, Luca, William, and Victoria. Mary was a cherished sister of Fred (Pat) Petty, Patsy (Jim) Goeddel, Sally (Rich) Edmiston, Joan (Paul) Smallwood, Rita (Ed) Brands, Paula (Chris) Linneman, and Linda (Mike) Beers. She was a wonderful aunt and dear friend to many. She is preceded in death by (parents), Fred Petty and Mary (Marsala) Petty, (husband) Kenneth O’Donnell, (daughter) Julia Klatch, (son in-law) Raymond Hasty, (brother) Fred Petty, (sister in-law) Pat Petty, (sister) Sally Edmiston, (brother in-law) Paul Smallwood, and (sister) Rita Brands.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at All Souls Catholic Church 9550 Tennyson Avenue, Overland 63114.
