Daughter of  Carl & Janet Dickey, was born July 26, 1962 in St. Louis, MO. She was baptized and confirmed her faith at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in 1976 with Marchie  and Andy Bram as her god parents.  In 1980 she graduated from Lindbergh High School. She had been married to Stephen Sulzer and Michael Fears.

Carla is survived by her children, Mehgan Sulzer and Kayla (Brian) Sulzer Dunlap and grandchildren Lennon and Austen Dunlap. She is also survived by brothers Kevin (Karen) Dickey and Michael Dickey, her parents Carl and Janet Dickey, former sister-in-law Julie and nieces and nephew Kelly, Katelyn and Josh. She is also survived by her fiance Jay “Frank, Jr.” Wisa and his children Brittany and Joel.

Carla was employed at Mercy Hospital in the Cancer Department. Carla loved her job and was loved by her fellow workers. She was also a personal trainer with a gym in her basement, training many people in physical fitness and nutrition.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, June 28, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Then taken to Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road, on Friday, June 29 from 9:00 am until time of funeral at 10:00 am. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Special Olympics or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and are greatly appreciated.
