passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018.
David is survived by his wife, Trish (Buckley), and brother, Mike. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Whalen, mother Louise Whalen (nee Moore), and sister Wanda Whalen.
David was born on September 14, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from St. Louis University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and enjoyed a career as an accomplished attorney. He and Trish fell in love and shared a long life together. David had many diverse interests including those of an avid reader, a Civil War buff, and an outdoorsman.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David’s life. A private interment will take place at a later date.
