Khoury, Alvin F. of St. Louis on Thursday, January 28, 2016 passed away peacefully at the age of 89, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church.

Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Hutter) and also preceded in death by his parents George M. and Dorothy Khoury; loving father of Al Khoury, Debbie (Mike) Cheney and Carol (Mark) Goodson; loving grandfather of Greta (Joe) Daiber, Katie (Wil) Hoppe, Mark (Briana) Goodson, Matt (Sammie) Goodson, Mike   Goodson, Courtney, Cattie and Chris Khoury; loving great-grandfather of Ava, Hunter, Miles, Sophia, Madelyn, Caden, Nolan and Kaiker; he was preceded in death by his brothers George Khoury and Robert Khoury; dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Al was the son of the late George M. Khoury, founder of the Khoury League and participated and enjoyed the leagues for many years. Al’s real passion was in running the family business, Khoury Bros. Printing and Office Supply, established in 1947.

He was proud to be a World War II Navy Veteran and shared many  stories.

Al would want us to thank all the many wonderful care providers who helped him live a happy 89 years.

Services: Private arrangements made by KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL. Private family service with interment at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Al’s honor to St. Anthony’s Hospice program.
