us. We had many good times together growing up.
Cousin Ray Welge & wife Dot
I am so sad to hear about Aunt Joan’s passing. She was the last of our family’s generation before us. That leaves my cousins, my sisters and I as the oldest blood related family members left. To my cousins Janice, Jolene, Jeff, Jon, Jim and Jill – my heart goes out to all of you and your families. I’ll always treasure the memories of the times in my younger days that I spent with Aunt Joan.
Joan was such a sweet soul. I’m saddened to hear this. Heaven got a good one!
Jon(and family). Please accept our sympathy and condolences during this difficult time. Please know we are thinking of you and send our love.
Sincerely, Matt & Ashley
To all of you,
My deepest sorrow in the loss of your mother and my dear friend.
Each afternoon about 4:30, I listened for that phone to ring and to hear her familiar voice and laugh. She kind of prepared me for this time, as the calls came less and less. I knew this day would come, but it still hurts.
We talked about our children and how much we care for each one of them. We also talked about our childhoods and how we were raised. So very different from today. The change in the world was too swift and very difficult to understand. Who knew that our lives would end like this? She doesn’t have to wonder anymore. She is with Gary and our very loving Tootsie and Joe. Oh, and then the soap operas our daily discussion and what may be happening in the days to come.
You must know how proud she was of each one of you! Always remember the good times with her. And when you wake up each day, ask her to help you through that day. I know she will be very happy to help you. Take care, each of you and stick together. This special glue, your Mother, is not far away. -Aunt Joan
My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Joan. She was a wonderful person with a great love of life and a very special sense of humor. That love of life and humor rubbed off on everyone she knew, especially her kids. She will be very much missed by all.
Very sorry for your loss. Aunt Joan was such an amazing woman. Praying the love of God enfolds you all during your journey through grief. Sending you all thoughts of comfort. May you take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us.
