Mrs. Kelly Ann Baumgartner passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Kelly Ann Farrell was born September 7, 1963 to Charles “Charley” and Carol Farrell in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Oakville High School in 1982 and married the love of her life, William “Bill” Joseph Baumgartner on October 12, 1991. Together, they raised three children, Brett, Bria and Grant. Kelly was an accomplished gardener. She was an exceptional hostess and cook, and always enjoyed entertaining for family and friends. In addition to family, Kelly loved spending time with several pets over the years, including her beloved dog, Lucy, and chickens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Carol Farrell; her infant brother, Edward; her father in law, Richard “Big Man” Baumgartner; and her brother in law, Edward Baumgartner.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; her oldest son, Brett, and his wife, Natalie; her daughter, Bria; her youngest son, Grant; sister Mary McVey and her husband, Dave; brother Charley Farrell and his wife, Sharon; sister Sally Durer and her husband, Fred; mother in law Rosie Baumgartner; sister in law Linda Glidewell and her husband, Rick; sister in law Diane Parkin and her husband, Byron; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services: Visitation is scheduled at 11am on Monday, March 27, 2023, at West Springs Church in Ballwin, MO. Service will be at 12pm with lunch and a celebration of life following service at the Church. A Kutis South County Chapel Service
Dear Bill and Family: I am saddened to hear of Kelly’s death. Bill, you and the family are in my prayers and will continue to be so. Heaven is blessed to have a talented gardener care for the lovely flowers in God’s garden.

I’m very grateful for the time I had getting to know Kelly and the entire Baumgartner family by way of her daughter Bria. Kelly was such a beloved person and always put others in front of herself. So caring and grateful, I will miss Kelly forever.

Having Kelly in my life truly showed me what friendship was all about! She Never had a bad thing to say about anyone!! I will miss our talks and the memories of all our trips when we were younger. Kelly will be greatly missed by all of the lucky people blessed to be friends. My heart and prayers are with Bill and the children. She always spoke of all her family with love and pride.
Aunt Kelly was an amazing aunt and an awesome godmother. Aunt Kelly’s door was always opened and there was always room at her table. It didn’t matter who you were, she took care of everyone like they were family. She always had enough food to go around. Over the years, Aunt Kelly hosted numerous holidays, bringing together family and friends. On top of everything else Aunt Kelly did, she also gave me 3 amazing cousins. We all miss you deeply and know you are watching over all of us. Love you !

Kelly was such a kind hearted soul and incredible friend, neighbor, and mother. We have lived next to the Baumgartner family for as long as we know and Kelly always wanted to ensure her home was a safe and fun space for her children and all their friends. She has raised the most incredible kids anyone can ask for. Tannia and Nadias happiest childhood memories were at the Baumgartner home. My condolences to the entire family. I only met Kelly a few times, via Bill, but I always loved seeing how much she and Bill adored each other. Some people just impress you as a truly delightful soul. Kelly is such a person. May God bless and comfort Bill, and the family.

I just heard the sad news about Kelly. So many young family and friends lost these last three years, but it will never cease to shock me. I have been far away from the family for so long, but I hope you know you have all remained in my heart. Mike and I send our deepest condolences.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have only known Kelly for a short time as her niece Sarah married our nephew Corey. Whenever he family got together for gatherings she was always there with a smile on her face. Our prayers are with your family at this difficult time

Aunt Kelly will be missed deeply. I had the privilege of growing up with her kids at their house for years. She never hesitated to have her doors open for everyone and was so beyond welcoming. Always ensuring the house was stocked with favorite treats, and preparing many delicious meals! Not to mention the many adventures she would take us on ensuring we were always entertained whether it be a park, grants farm, Chuck E. Cheese, or a nearby creek to swim in we always had something fun to do at her house!
Every holiday or event that she was so gracious to host was a blast at her house. And if she wasn’t hosting, she would come with arms full of delicious homemade meals. My favorite was her homemade brisket and fresh bread!
She was always so positive and delighted to hear of all of the things going on in our lives. She was always smiling and she had the best hardy laugh! I will miss her more than words can explain and my heart breaks for the Baumgartner’s. I know she is doing headstands for all of the angels up in heaven. My deepest condolences.
My mother in law had a special bond with Kelly, they were sisters and best friends, a bond any parent like myself hopes their children can experience. Since the day I met Kelly she treated me like family. She always had hot food and was always finding ways to entertain! We recently went to a firework show together and she started doing headstands in the middle of the show to entertain our little ones (but she entertained everyone!). She was always smiling and making everyone around her smile. She built an unbelievable family that I cherish spending time with. Bill, Brett, Bria, and Grant I am so sorry for what you are going through but I want you to know that myself along with everyone else will always picture Kelly smiling.

So very sorry to hear of Kelly’s passing. Sometimes words are hard to come by. I think of your family fondly when driving by your house knowing so many kids traveled in and out. Kelly always enjoyed opening her home to the Spin/Wired kids. We enjoyed Super bowl parties as well. Praying you feel Gods arms wrapped tightly around you all.

I’m am very sad to hear this. I’ve known her for just 33 years. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. One of my best experiences with her is when she was in our wedding. She will be missed dearly. Rest in peace my friend
