Wife of Joe Yokota; mother of Jenniffer (Tom) Sheldon; “grandma YoYo” of Jocelyn Sheldon; sister-in-law and friend to many (of both the two and four legged variety).
Irma was a Sunday School teacher and faithful parishioner at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Creve Coeur. She volunteered for many years for the Red Cross, the Japanese Festival at the Botanical Garden and the USO and was a member of the American Sewing Guild.
Services: Visitation at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church (808 North Mason Rd., 63141), Friday October 12, 10:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Louis Alzheimer’s Association or St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church appreciated.
