Beloved husband of Joan Jackson (nee Brawley) and the late Marilyn Jackson (nee Lombard); dearest father of Robynn (Scott) Flamm and Victoria (Duncan) Blake; step-father of Linda (Charles) Fowler, Melvin (Gina) Shomaker, Dan (Melinda) Shomaker, and the late Brenda (Ray) Merseal and Sandra Allen; loving grandfather of Scott Jr. (Nicole) Flamm, Ryan Flamm (Kasey Brooks) and Cory (Abbie) Flamm; great-grandfather of Jheda, Liam, Evan, Christopher and Brylee; dear brother of Ellen Souers, Pat Jackson and Rusty Jackson; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Monday, July 27, 9am until funeral at 12pm. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to deGreeff Hospice House appreciated. MASKS MANDATORY.

A wonderful, loving, giving person. When my Mom couldn’t think of a middle name for me he did not hesitate to share his with me. I will always have that part of my uncle! I love you Uncle Bob. I will miss you but I know you’re in a better place.

Vicky and family, I’m very sorry for your loss. You know your Dad is with Jesus, your Mom and all who is in heaven, greeting him now. I hope this helps bring peace and comfort to your hearts. Look for signs, because I’m sure your Dad will be sending them, as your Mom is, too. Look to Jesus for strength and all will be well.

Joan, Robynn, Vicky and all your family please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. All of your fondest memories and love will continue through all of you. Uncle Bob was a great man and loved by all of us. He’s in a very special place now and is suffering no more. Watch for signs of him around as you’ll receive them in dreams or other means. May he rest in peace. I love you all.
Dear Vickey, Robynn, Joan and extended family, I’ve been praying for peace and comfort for all of you during this tremendous time of loss!!! Uncle Bob was such a loving, kind and generous man. I can’t tell you how many times he slipped me money when I was growing up and always gave me money when my girls were little to buy toys for them. One of the things he was best known for was for how much he loved you girls and he was always so proud of both of you and his grandchildren. My heart hurts for all of you and I pray for God’s comfort during this time!! Aunt Joan, you were such a bright spot in Uncle Bob’s life and he loved you so very much!! Thank you so much for all you have done for all of us over these years! I pray that God gives you strength and comfort to get through the days ahead!
Bob was always a good and loving man. He was devoted to Joan (his wife) and all of his family! I know he is now apart of a beautiful chain of loved ones in heaven. God Bless and keep his grieving family. He will be dearly missed.
My dearest friend, throughout the years you’ve had such a beautiful relationship and special bond with your Father. Even though I never had the pleasure in meeting him, but just by the way you lit up when you talked about your “Daddy” that he was indeed a very special person. I’m so sorry for your loss.
